GAME DESIGNER (Middle / Senior)

Your Missions

Game design:
  • Develop highly detailed design documents covering all aspects of game design, gameplay, and UI.
  • Design game mechanics and ensure a well-balanced experience.
  • Create missions, levels, and environmental aspects, ensuring they align with gameplay and storyline.
  • Write the game’s narrative, menu text, and in-game dialogues (if applicable)Support assigned Game Designers to maximize creativity and innovation within the team.
  • Assist the Game Design department in all game design-related matters to enhance team members’ skills, fostering commitment, work quality, and optimal performance.
Project Management:
  • Review and analyze competing products to generate new Game Design ideas.
  • Stay updated on game design technologies, trends, player preferences, feedback, and demands.
  • Oversee game testing to ensure the intended player experience aligns with the original vision.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality design documentation, covering mechanics, storyline, menu flow, layout design, functional descriptions, and guidelines.
  • Define additional “virtual features” such as currency, in-game store items, menu design, and audio direction.
  • Establish strategies for game meta, monetization, and player retention.
  • Create game testing plans for internal QA teams.
  • Provide feedback to the team on game quality, technical aspects, and adherence to the original design.
  • Develop game prototypes and a database of potential game concepts for future use.
  • Conduct regular design reviews throughout the game development process.

Application Conditions

  • Passionate about playing and developing games for the international market.
  • At least 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to read and understand technical English.
  • Independent, focused, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork skills, open to sharing, contributing, and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Open-minded, eager to learn new technologies and knowledge to continuously improve.
